There’s a book presentation happening this Tuesday, 7th April at 7:30pm in Santa Cruz, and it’s a bit different from the usual.
The Real Club Náutico de Tenerife is hosting the launch of “Tourism in Tenerife: Stories that Connect”, with free entry until the place fills up.
It’s part of their Nautical Cultural series, but this one leans more into the human side of things rather than stats and figures.
Not Your Typical Tourism Book
Instead of numbers and reports, the book focuses on the people behind it all.
The stories, decisions, and day-to-day efforts that helped shape Tenerife into what it is now. It’s been put together by CALÍNICO Hoteleros x Tenerife, and the idea is fairly simple… show the side of tourism most people don’t usually see.
The people who actually built it.
What to Expect on the Night
There’s a panel lined up to talk through the project:
- Francisco García-Talavera opens things up
- Andrés Brito speaks as editorial coordinator
- Eduardo Solís leads the main presentation
So it’s not just a quick launch and a glass of wine… there’s a bit more to it.
Worth Going?
If you’ve lived here a while, or you’re even slightly interested in how Tenerife ended up the way it is, it’s probably worth an hour of your time.
It’s not often you get a look at tourism from this angle.
