The Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB® is officially back on the calendar.
What’s New
There are a few changes worth knowing:
- New 67km race (still being finalised)
- The 73k gets longer… around +10km
- A new Vertical race added
So it’s not just a return… it’s an upgrade.
Registration
Entries open June 2026.
With priority access for:
- Runners who missed out this year
- Athletes with a valid UTMB Index
- General entry after
So if you’re planning it… timing matters.
Still Playing by the Rules
Races through Teide National Park (110k & 73k) remain limited:
- Max 400 runners
All tied to environmental regulations… which aren’t getting any looser.
The Bigger Picture
This race isn’t just local anymore.
It’s part of the UTMB circuit, meaning:
- Qualification points (Running Stones)
- Pathway to Mont Blanc finals
So it attracts a serious international crowd.
Worth Knowing
After a cancelled year…
Expect demand to be high when entries open.
And usually with this race… they don’t hang around.
