CD Tenerife has officially announced that Macron will become the club’s new technical sponsor for the 2026/27 season.
The agreement comes as Tenerife prepares for life back in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, following their long-awaited return to Spain’s second tier.
The Italian sportswear brand will supply the playing kits for the first team, as well as the club’s youth academy.
A new look for a new chapter
A change of kit manufacturer might not seem like the biggest story in football, but supporters always take an interest when new shirts are on the way.
The partnership marks a fresh commercial chapter for the club as it looks to build on last season’s promotion and establish itself back in the Segunda División.
The club hasn’t revealed the final designs yet, but Macron has built a reputation for creating shirts that reflect a club’s history, local identity and traditions, rather than simply producing another generic football kit.
Whether that wins over the fans remains to be seen, but expectations will certainly be high.
A well-known name in European sport
Founded in Bologna, Italy, Macron has become one of Europe’s leading sportswear manufacturers.
The company supplies kits to professional football clubs across Europe and is also the official supplier of referee uniforms for UEFA competitions.
Beyond football, the brand has partnerships in rugby, basketball, volleyball, handball and several other sports, and has even worked with names such as Lamborghini, Ducati and Yamaha.
Macron also says sustainability is a key part of its manufacturing process, with many of its products made using recycled and recyclable materials.
For Tenerife supporters, though, there’ll probably only be one question that really matters.
When do we get to see the new home shirt?
