Halloween in Adeje: Two spooky tunnels and family fun on 31 October

Adeje is getting into the Halloween spirit on Saturday 31 October, with an evening of spooky attractions and family activities running from 6pm to 10pm.

The free event takes place in two squares in La Postura, with everything from a virtual reality horror experience to a full-on tunnel of terror. Fancy dress is encouraged, so there’s a good excuse to dig out that costume you’ve been saving.

Virtual reality and activities for children

At Plaza La Concordia, visitors can try the Virtual Tunnel, an immersive horror experience using virtual reality glasses. Expect frightening scenes and creepy characters as you make your way through the experience.

There’s also a dedicated children’s area, with two Halloween-themed craft workshops and an inflatable castle for younger visitors who prefer their thrills with a little less terror.

Dare to enter the Tunnel of Terror?

Over at Plaza Piedra Redonda, the main attraction is the Great Tunnel of Terror. Organisers promise a walk through darkness, surprises and spooky encounters for anyone brave enough to give it a go.

It sounds like the sort of place where going in with your friends is a good idea, although there’s no guarantee you’ll all come out looking quite so confident.

The event is also an opportunity to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere around La Postura and support local shops and businesses.
