DiverSaldo Returns to La Orotava with Around 80 Stalls

If you like a bargain, Saturday 3 October could be worth a wander around La Orotava.

DiverSaldo is returning to the town centre, turning the streets into a huge open-air shopping area with around 80 local businesses taking part.

The event runs from 10am to 8pm, giving shoppers a full ten hours to rummage through discounted stock, including clothing, household goods, electrical appliances and other items being cleared out at reduced prices.

More than just shopping

The stalls will stretch through the area around Avenida de Canarias, Calle Calvario, Puente del Escultor Estévez, San Agustín and Plaza de la Constitución.

As well as the bargains, there will be children’s activities, local food and live music, so it’s not simply a case of walking around looking for the cheapest toaster in Tenerife.

The participating businesses will be using the event to clear remaining stock and out-of-season products, which means there should be a decent mix of things on offer.

If you’re heading into La Orotava that Saturday, it’s a good excuse to have a look around the stalls and see what turns up.
