Cook Music Fest 2026: Santa Cruz, Tenerife | 16th to 18th July

If you’re going to be in Tenerife from 16th to 18th July, it’s worth keeping Santa Cruz firmly on your radar.

Cook Music Fest 2026 is back, bringing three nights of live music to the island with some of the biggest names in Latin music taking to the stage.

Whether you’re a fan of the artists or just fancy soaking up the atmosphere, it’s one of the biggest events on Tenerife’s summer calendar.

Three nights of international artists

The festival kicks off on Thursday 16th July with Colombian superstar Juan Luis Guerra, whose concerts rarely disappoint.

On Friday 17th July, it’s the turn of two artists who have been filling concert venues for years, Chayanne and Olga Tañón.

Then on Saturday 18th July, Elvis Crespo rounds things off with plenty of Latin rhythms to finish the weekend in style.

Across the three evenings, 15 international artists will perform, making it one of the biggest music festivals the island hosts each year.

There’s plenty happening away from the stage

The music is obviously the main attraction, but there’s a lot more to the festival than standing in front of the stage.

The event stretches across more than 75,000 square metres, giving visitors plenty of room to explore.

You’ll find food stalls serving all sorts of dishes, a street market, interactive entertainment and even a giant Ferris wheel overlooking Santa Cruz port. If you time it right, the views at sunset should be well worth the ride.

Like most good festivals, it’s just as much about wandering around, catching up with friends and enjoying the atmosphere as it is about who’s performing.

Expect Santa Cruz to be busy

If you’re planning to visit Santa Cruz between 16th and 18th July, be prepared for larger crowds, particularly during the evenings.

Parking will be harder to find than usual, and restaurants and bars around the city are likely to be much busier than normal.

If you’re already on the island, it’s one of those weekends that’s worth experiencing, even if live music isn’t normally your thing. There’s always a great atmosphere when events like this come to Tenerife, and it gives both residents and visitors another reason to enjoy a summer evening in the capital.
