September is getting off to a busy start at Teatro Leal in La Laguna, with comedy, theatre and music filling the programme during the first two weeks of the month.
There’s a bit of everything, really. From stand-up comedy and Cuban music to Carmina Burana and local artists, so unless you’re particularly difficult to please, there should be something worth seeing.
The programme gets underway with comedy
The month starts with Petite Lorena and Tremenda, running from 1 to 4 September.
Then on 5 September, Cuban group Septeto Santiaguero bring their Y Sigo Pa’lante Tour to the Teatro Leal.
The following evening, on 6 September, Habemus Teatro presents Una para cinco.
Music and theatre continue through the following week
On 8 September, Compañía Pieles takes to the stage with Arahal, un lugar donde descansar.
One of the biggest names on the programme follows on 10 September, when Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana will be performed at the theatre.
Javi Hernández brings Laguneando to the stage on 12 September, followed by José Manuel Ramos and his show Todo de mí on 13 September.
The programme rounds off this run on 14 September with comedian Ayoze Pérez and his show, Pa’l que no haya visto otra cosa está bien.

Tickets and further information about the programme are available through Tickety.es and at the Teatro Leal box office on Calle Obispo Rey Redondo, 50, in La Laguna.
The box office is open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 1pm and from 6pm to 8pm.
On Sundays, it opens two hours before the performance.
