It follows the story of a Canarian nurse who ends up in El Aaiún in the 70s… what starts as a short stay turns into something much bigger after she falls in love with a young Sahrawi man involved in the independence movement.
Then it jumps forward to the refugee camps years later… where everything gets revisited through a conversation with a journalism student.
Not exactly light viewing… but the kind of story that sticks with you.
