Degusta.me returns to Adeje with a month of food and drink events

Adeje’s Degusta.me Gastronomic Food Festival is back for its 17th edition, with a packed programme of workshops and tasting sessions running throughout November.

The event is organised by Adeje Council, through its Economic Development and Employment department, in collaboration with the local business association AECPA. The aim is to support local restaurants and food businesses, showcase the area’s food scene and encourage people to get out and enjoy what’s on offer.

There’s a good mix of activities this year, covering everything from local wines and traditional recipes to chocolate-making, sushi and cocktails. Children and families also get their own sessions, so it’s not just one for the grown-ups.

Where are the workshops?

Activities are spread across several venues in Adeje, including the Costa Adeje Tourism Development Centre (CDTCA), cultural centres in Armeñime, Fañabé and Tijoco La Hoya, the Agromercado and the Centre for Citizen Participation and Coexistence.

It’s worth checking the individual event listings for venue details and booking information before heading along. Some sessions have age restrictions, so make sure you choose the right one.

The programme is part of Adeje Empresarial, the council’s wider project to support local businesses and encourage people to make more use of the food and services available in the municipality.
