Residents of Punta Brava and Las Adelfas can visit Loro Parque for free for one week this September.
The special offer runs from 21 to 27 September, giving people who live in the two areas the chance to enjoy the park without paying the usual entrance fee.
There are a couple of conditions, though. You can’t simply turn up and expect to walk through the gates.
How to get your free ticket
Residents need to go to the physical ticket office at Loro Parque to collect their free entrance ticket.
To prove where they live, they must bring either their original DNI or a residence certificate confirming that they live in Punta Brava or Las Adelfas.
Each resident can collect one ticket only, and it is personal and non-transferable.
So, no picking one up for a friend, neighbour or cousin who happens to be visiting Tenerife that week.
The ticket must be collected in person at the park’s ticket office. There is no online application or collection option.
What about children?
Minors must be accompanied by an adult if they want to take advantage of the promotion.
The free-entry campaign is available for seven days, from Monday 21 September to Sunday 27 September, and is specifically for residents of Punta Brava and Las Adelfas who can provide the required proof of residence.
A decent little perk for local residents, especially if you’ve been meaning to visit Loro Parque but haven’t got round to it.
Just remember to take your ID and collect the ticket at the park before heading for the entrance.
