Finding somewhere for a decent breakfast or brunch where the kids can also entertain themselves isn’t always easy.
In El Médano, Veinte 04 offers a substantial brunch with plenty of sweet and savoury options, and there’s a park directly opposite. Which, if you’ve got children, is a fairly useful combination.
A Complete Brunch for €28
The brunch at Veinte 04 includes a selection of dishes to share, making it more than enough for a leisurely late breakfast.
For €28, the menu includes eggs prepared to your choice, with bacon, tomato and other accompaniments, along with cold meats, seasonal fruit, pastries and bread.
There are also sweet options including Nutella and jam, so there’s plenty to mix and match.
The brunch comes with half a litre of orange juice, half a litre of water and two coffees.
Food creator @elsiciliano_tenerife recently visited the café and described it as his favourite brunch in El Médano, also pointing out that there’s enough food to share between several people.
And Then There’s the Park
The food is only part of the appeal.
Veinte 04 is located directly opposite a park, which makes it particularly handy for families with young children.
As @elsiciliano_tenerife puts it: “Lo que más me gusta es que enfrente tienes un parque donde pueden jugar los niños mientras tú disfrutas del brunch.”
In other words, you can actually sit down and eat while the children burn off some energy.
It’s a simple thing, but anyone who has tried to enjoy a meal with bored children will understand why it matters.
