The Playa San Juan Aquathlon, held in Guía de Isora, delivered a memorable day of competition, highlighted by a historic achievement from Roberto Herrera, who became the first athlete with a disability to finish on the overall podium in the history of Canarian triathlon.
Herrera secured third place overall in the sprint distance while also being crowned Canary Islands Paratriathlon Champion, marking a milestone for inclusive sport in the Canary Islands.
