Túnez Brings Back Its Fiestas After 10 Years… Full Programme for San José Obrero 2026

This one’s been a long time coming.

After more than a decade, Túnez (Arona) is bringing back its fiestas in honour of San José Obrero… last held back in 2013.

So expect a proper mix of tradition, music, and local atmosphere over the weekend.

Friday 1st May

Religious events:

  • 18:30 – Holy Mass (Ermita de Túnez)
  • 🚶‍♂️ 19:15 – Procession with the image of San José
    (with the Arona Music Band)

Popular events:

  • 🎪 18:00 – Fairground opens
  • 💃 21:00 – Live music with DJ David Pérez & Toke Latino
    📍 Plaza de Túnez

Saturday 2nd May

  • 🎪 21:00 – Fairground opens
  • 💃 23:00 – Live music with Orquesta Wamampy & Toke Latino
    📍 Plaza de Túnez

Sunday 3rd May

  • 🎪 19:00 – Fairground opens
  • 👧 19:00 – Children’s festival
  • 💃 20:30 – Live music with Armonía Latina
    📍 Plaza de Túnez

Worth Knowing

It’s one of those proper local fiestas… not overdone, just a good excuse for the community to come together again.

And after 10+ years… you can expect a decent turnout.
