This one’s been a long time coming.
After more than a decade, Túnez (Arona) is bringing back its fiestas in honour of San José Obrero… last held back in 2013.
So expect a proper mix of tradition, music, and local atmosphere over the weekend.
Friday 1st May
Religious events:
- ⛪ 18:30 – Holy Mass (Ermita de Túnez)
- 🚶♂️ 19:15 – Procession with the image of San José
(with the Arona Music Band)

- 🎪 18:00 – Fairground opens
- 💃 21:00 – Live music with DJ David Pérez & Toke Latino

Worth Knowing
It’s one of those proper local fiestas… not overdone, just a good excuse for the community to come together again.
And after 10+ years… you can expect a decent turnout.
