Tenerife is getting a taste of Tomorrowland this weekend, with Noctámbula Festival making its debut at the Recinto Ferial on Saturday, 12 September.
The main attraction will be Symphony of Unity, the orchestral concept from the Tomorrowland universe, which will perform its only Spanish date of 2026 in Tenerife.
Doors open at 4pm, with the festival bringing together a strong line-up of electronic music artists including Indira Paganotto, Mattia Vitale from Meduza, Michenlo, Claudia Rutten, Dani Chueca, DJ Jonay and Tay de León.
Tomorrowland meets live orchestra
The big draw is Symphony of Unity, which takes some of the biggest electronic music anthems and gives them a full orchestral treatment.
More than 60 musicians will perform live, combining electronic music with a large-scale symphonic production.
It’s a fairly ambitious way to launch a new festival in Tenerife.
Indira Paganotto joins the line-up
There has been a change to the original line-up, with Indira Paganotto joining the festival in place of B Jones.
B Jones announced in August that she would be unable to perform for health reasons after undergoing a bone marrow transplant. Her appearance has now been moved to the 2027 edition of Noctámbula.
Paganotto, who was born in Gran Canaria and has built an international reputation in the psytechno scene, was suggested by B Jones herself as her replacement.
Part of the ticket revenue will also go to the Ángela Navarro Association, which supports people undergoing cancer treatment.
Plenty of Canarian talent
The international line-up is joined by a strong group of artists from the Canary Islands.
Claudia Rutten, Dani Chueca, DJ Jonay and Tay de León will bring a mix of electronic styles to the festival, including house, minimal deep tech, drum & bass, breakbeat and rave-influenced sounds.
The organisers have also gone fairly big on the production side.
The lighting design, directed by Juanjo Beloqui, includes around 600 lighting devices and 400 square metres of LED screens, with the different effects synchronised using timecode.
According to Beloqui, everything has been programmed down to the smallest detail, with each effect timed precisely with the music.
Tickets and what to expect
Noctámbula will include food areas, cocktail bars and several ticket options, including General, Front Stage, VIP and Ultimate.
General admission tickets are currently available from €75, according to Tomaticket, with the festival restricted to those aged 18 and over.
For electronic music fans, the big attraction is fairly obvious. Tomorrowland’s Symphony of Unity only has one Spanish date this year, and it’s happening right here in Tenerife.
