Timple and guitar come together in ‘Canela y Limón’ at La Laguna’s International Plucked String Festival

The III International Plucked String Festival Ciudad de La Laguna continues this July with a unique musical performance that brings together two acclaimed musicians from different traditions.

On Wednesday 8th July at 7:30pm, Germán López and Antonio Toledo will present Canela y Limón in the Chamber Hall of the Teatro Leal, offering a concert that blends Canarian tradition, jazz, flamenco and world music.

A meeting of two musical worlds

At the heart of Canela y Limón is the conversation between the timple and the guitar, two instruments that come together to create an original and expressive sound.

The performance combines improvisation, technical mastery and musical dialogue, resulting in a dynamic show where different styles merge naturally while celebrating the rich musical heritage of the Canary Islands.
