Auditorio de Tenerife welcomes Hotel Europa’s acclaimed production Terra do Fogo to La Salita with two performances taking place on 13 and 14 June 2026.
Performed in Portuguese with Spanish surtitles, the production explores a powerful and deeply human story inspired by the devastating wildfires that swept across Portugal in 2017.

A Story Inspired by Real Events
Terra do Fogo focuses on the true story of a family affected by the catastrophic Portuguese wildfires of 2017, a year in which around 500,000 hectares of land were destroyed and more than 100 people lost their lives.
On stage, creators André Amálio and Pedro Salvador weave together personal testimonies, factual data and reflections on land management, climate challenges and the future of forests.
