Tenerife Bonoloto winner takes home more than €60,000

Someone in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is €60,610 better off after a Bonoloto ticket won a substantial prize in Sunday’s draw.

The winning ticket matched five numbers plus the complementary number and was validated at a lottery shop on Lope de Vega Street in Santa Cruz.

Not a bad result for a Sunday evening.

The winning numbers were 04, 10, 21, 30, 31 and 48, with 37 as the complementary number.

There were two winners in this category, with the other winning ticket sold in Barcelona. Nobody managed to match all six numbers, so there was no winner in the top prize category.

Daily lottery, relatively small stakes

Bonoloto draws take place every day, so there’s always another chance to have a go.

Players can choose six numbers across several columns, or select a single column and use different combinations.

Each bet costs just €0.50, although a complete ticket costs at least €1, which gives you two bets in the same draw.

Of the money taken through Bonoloto, 55% goes towards prizes, spread across the different winning categories.

So, while the chances of landing the big one are obviously tiny, somebody in Santa Cruz has just picked up more than €60,000 from Sunday’s draw.

Not life-changing money for everyone, perhaps, but I’d happily find it sitting in my bank account on Monday morning.
