The Town Hall of Tegueste will officially honour local footballer Pedro González ‘Pedri’ with a civic reception on Tuesday, 11 August, following his recent FIFA World Cup victory with the Spanish national team.
The event will begin at 5:00 pm at Tegueste Town Hall and will recognise Pedri’s outstanding sporting achievements and his continued connection to his hometown.
Official Reception at the Town Hall
The reception will be attended by Tegueste Mayor Juan Norberto Padilla, Cabildo of Tenerife President Rosa Dávila, representatives from both institutions, as well as Pedri’s family and invited guests.
As part of the celebration, Pedri will appear on the Town Hall balcony to greet residents and visitors who gather to celebrate the occasion.

The Town Hall has invited residents and visitors to take part in the celebration and join the municipality in recognising one of Tegueste’s most celebrated sporting figures.
The event marks a special occasion for the community as it celebrates Pedri’s success on the international stage and his achievement as a world champion with Spain.
