Siam Night has wrapped up its 2026 season after attracting more than 120,000 visitors during July and August, representing a 20% increase on last year’s attendance.
The eight-week event finished on 29 August 2026, once again turning Siam Park in Adeje into something rather different after the sun went down.
And judging by the numbers, people seem to like it.
A water park after dark
For eight weeks, Siam Park operated as a huge night-time festival, attracting a mixture of families, younger visitors and tourists from around the world.
The park’s famous attractions, including the Tower of Power and Saifá, remained part of the experience, while Siam Beach provided the entertainment, with international DJs and fireworks lighting up the night sky.
The idea behind Siam Night is fairly simple. Tenerife can get seriously hot during the summer, so why not move the water park experience into the evening?
It also gives visitors a completely different feel from a normal daytime trip.
20% more visitors than last year
According to Grupo Loro Parque, the event attracted more than 120,000 people across July and August, an increase of around 20% compared with 2025.
Christoph Kiessling, Vice President of Grupo Loro Parque, said the event was created to meet demand for a premium night-time water experience while also providing visitors with a cooler alternative to the daytime heat.
He also highlighted the wider economic impact, with the event benefiting hotels, restaurants, shops and transport businesses across Tenerife.
And there was another positive statistic.
The entire season passed without incidents, according to the organisers, who described Siam Night as one of the safest events of its type in Europe.
Visitors seem to have bought into the idea
The reaction from visitors has also been positive, with plenty of praise appearing on social media.
One visitor from Germany described it as an “unforgettable night, with incredible energy”.
Another highlighted the novelty of visiting a water park after dark, calling the experience “simply magical”.
Several visitors also pointed out that the atmosphere is noticeably different at night, with a more relaxed feel and easier access to some of the attractions.
Which is probably one of the few occasions when someone can say they went to a water park and came away feeling relaxed.
A boost for Tenerife
Siam Night also appears to have attracted people who might not previously have considered visiting a water park during their holiday.
That gives Tenerife another option for evening entertainment, particularly during the hottest months when spending an entire day outside can be a bit much.
Canary Islands residents were also offered a 50% discount, while transport links were improved to make it easier for local visitors to reach the park.
Kiessling said the support of the local community had been important to the event’s success and its growing international reputation.
Siam Park carries on
Siam Night may be over for another year, but Siam Park remains open throughout the year.
Grupo Loro Parque says it will continue investing in the visitor experience while maintaining the park’s position as one of Tenerife’s major attractions.
After welcoming more than 120,000 people during this year’s night-time season, Siam Night has certainly given the island another successful summer attraction.
And if the 20% increase is anything to go by, it looks like Tenerife hasn’t had its fill of water parks after dark just yet.
