If you fancy a bit of shopping, some decent discounts and a day out with the family, Show Market Los Realejos is back on Saturday, 17 October.
The event takes over the open commercial area of Toscal Longuera, bringing local businesses together for a full day of shopping, entertainment and food. The programme runs from 10am until 11pm, so there’s plenty of time to have a wander without feeling you need to get everything done before lunch.
Local shops offering special discounts
Organised by Los Realejos Council’s Department of Commerce and its Local Development Agency, with support from the Tenerife Cabildo’s Commerce Department, the event aims to give the local business community a boost.
Participating businesses from the municipality’s Comercios con Corazón initiative will be offering discounts and clearing selected end-of-line stock.
It’s a chance to pick up a bargain while supporting independent shops in the area. Much better than spending another afternoon scrolling through online shopping sites, anyway.
Entertainment for all the family
There’s more to the day than shopping. The programme includes family activities, cultural events, participatory entertainment and workshops for children.
Local social organisations will also have the opportunity to raise their profile, giving visitors a chance to learn more about the work taking place in the community.
And when the shopping gets a bit much, the bars, restaurants and cafés around Toscal Longuera will be on hand with food and drink.
