Iberia Express has been named the official airline for Tenerife Peñón Fest 2026, which takes place this Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 October, at the Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The sponsorship is part of the airline’s efforts to support the places it serves, helping promote their tourism, cultural events and local economies.
And with Tenerife attracting visitors from across Spain and beyond, getting people to the island for a music festival is a fairly useful part of the equation.
Up to 12 daily flights between Tenerife and Madrid
Iberia Express operates up to 12 flights a day in each direction between Tenerife and Madrid, giving travellers connections to more than 100 domestic and international destinations across its network.
The airline says its involvement in Peñón Fest is intended to attract more visitors to Tenerife while also connecting with local residents through events that are part of island life.
Isabel Rodríguez, commercial director of Iberia Express, said the sponsorship forms part of the company’s promotional activities to encourage visitors to Tenerife and engage with residents through local events.
A big weekend for live music
Tenerife Peñón Fest takes place on 23 and 24 October at the Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the north of the island.
The festival brings together a mix of Spanish artists across two days, making it another addition to Tenerife’s growing live music calendar.
For anyone travelling in for the weekend, having plenty of flight options between Madrid and Tenerife should help make the trip a little easier to organise.
