One of Tenerife’s standout gourmet burgers is heading to La Orotava Burger Fest Canarias 2026, with La Jefa Food Truck bringing its popular ‘La Cabrona’ burger to the festival after a successful appearance in La Laguna.
The burger has built a strong following thanks to its combination of aged beef, smoked cheese, bacon jam, gofio mayonnaise, pickled and crispy red onion, all served in a potato bun. Created in Tenerife, it blends smoky, sweet and tangy flavours with locally inspired ingredients.
Two Days of Burgers, Music and Local Produce
The first edition of La Orotava Burger Fest Canarias takes place on 7 and 8 August 2026 at Parking Lercaro in La Orotava, with free admission.
Visitors can enjoy burgers from 12 restaurants from across the Canary Islands, all showcasing local produce. The event will also feature a vegan zone, 100% gluten-free options, artisan beers, mojitos and desserts from Varguita Cheesecake and thiscookies.
Live Entertainment
The festival will also feature live music and DJ performances throughout the weekend.
