There’s a fair bit going on with the Auditorio de Tenerife this week, with the new Opera de Tenerife season getting underway alongside theatre, jazz and the return of the Ópera de cerca recital series.
Here’s what’s coming up.
Wednesday
8pm: Ópera de cerca brings sopranos Zayra Ruiz and Arantxa Cooper Aubé to the Espacio Cultural Cine Viejo de Candelaria.

Thursday to Sunday
Seré, the production by Lautaro Delgado Tymruk and Sofía Brito, takes place on:
- Thursday: 7:30pm
- Friday: 7:30pm
- Saturday: 7:30pm
- Sunday: 12pm

Friday
7:30pm: Bernardo Parrilla Quinteto performs as part of the Canarias Jazz Showroom.
Saturday
There are two more events on Saturday.
7:30pm: Cristopher Pérez performs as part of Canarias Jazz Showroom.
Then at 7pm, Ópera de cerca returns with Zayra Ruiz and Arantxa Cooper Aubé at the Biblioteca Municipal de Icod de los Vinos.
That recital is free, with entry available until capacity is reached.
Sunday
And then the big one.
At 6pm, Le nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart opens the 2026-2027 Ópera de Tenerife season.
So, whether you’re into opera, jazz or theatre, there’s a reasonable excuse to get out of the house this week.
