The 31st Muestra Folclórica de Los Pueblos is offering a series of workshops in El Médano, giving residents and visitors the chance to discover traditional Canarian crafts and folk dancing this August.
Traditional Pottery Workshop
Participants can learn the basics of traditional Canarian pottery and create their own handcrafted piece.
Children (8 to 12 years)
- Dates: 17 & 19 August
- Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Adults (16 years and over)
- Dates: 18 & 20 August
- Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Intensive Canarian Folk Dance Workshop
Those interested in traditional Canarian dance can take part in a five-day intensive workshop.
- Dates: 17 to 21 August
- Time: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
- Age: 12 years and over
Venue and Registration
Both workshops will be held at the M3 Building in El Médano.
Places are available through registration at the SAC office in El Médano.
The workshops form part of the 31st Muestra Folclórica de Los Pueblos, celebrating the traditions, culture and heritage of the Canary Islands.
