Opera Tenerife will present Ambroise Thomas’ French opera Hamlet with performances on 7, 9, 11 and 13 March 2027 at the Symphony Hall of the Auditorio de Tenerife in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
This production, created by the Opéra de Saint-Étienne and directed by Nicola Berloffa, brings Shakespeare’s famous tragedy to life through Thomas’ acclaimed operatic adaptation.
International Cast and Orchestra
The performances will be conducted by Seok-Won Hong, leading the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra.
The cast features baritone Fernando Campero as the troubled Prince Hamlet and soprano Serena Sáenz as Ophélie. They will be joined by the Ópera de Tenerife-Intermezzo Chorus and the Centro Internacional de Danza Tenerife, completing a large-scale production.
