Tenerife Gymnasts Shine at Spanish Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships

Tenerife’s rhythmic gymnastics community is celebrating a series of outstanding results after local athletes delivered impressive performances at the Spanish Individual and Regional Championships and the Spanish Men’s Individual Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, held recently in Guadalajara.

Valentina Bautista Crowned Spanish Runner-Up

One of the standout performers was Valentina Bautista Herrero, representing Club Batistana Tenerife, who was named Spanish Absolute Infant Runner-Up after an exceptional competition.

She also excelled in the apparatus finals, claiming:

  • 🥇 Spanish Champion – Ball
  • 🥈 Spanish Runner-Up – Rope
  • 🥉 Third Place – Ribbon

Her results confirm her position as one of the most promising young gymnasts in Spain.

Bronze for Cristofer Benítez

There was further success for Tenerife thanks to Cristofer Benítez Hernández, from Club Evangim, who secured third place overall in the Senior Master category.

He also achieved podium finishes in the apparatus finals:

  • 🥈 Spanish Runner-Up – Hoop
  • 🥉 Third Place – Rope

A Proud Moment for Tenerife

The achievements of both athletes highlight the strength of rhythmic gymnastics in Tenerife and the dedication of the gymnasts, coaches and clubs involved in their development.

Their performances in Guadalajara have brought national recognition to the island and provided another proud moment for Tenerife sport.
