Veranos del Taoro returns to Parque de La Sortija in Puerto de la Cruz on 19 and 20 June 2026, celebrating its fifth anniversary with a programme of theatre, contemporary dance, live performance and cabaret under the stars.
Inspired by famous open-air theatre festivals such as London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and Shakespeare in the Park in New York, the event transforms one of Tenerife’s most beautiful green spaces into a natural cultural venue.
One of the main novelties this year is the debut of Espacio Raíz, a new outdoor stage dedicated to dance and movement, connecting contemporary performance with Canarian identity.
The festival features four distinct areas, including the main theatre stage beneath a historic Indian Laurel tree, an intimate cabaret space, the new dance zone and a gastronomic area with food trucks, drinks and outdoor seating.
Visitors can enjoy a mix of acclaimed productions, emerging artists and a relaxed festival atmosphere, making it one of the cultural highlights of the summer in North Tenerife.
