Siam Park is doing something a bit different for Canary Islands Day this year.
On Friday 30 May, the water park will offer free entry to visitors whose first names match a list inspired by Guanche kings, princesses and historic Canarian figures.
A nice local touch really.
And probably the only time having one of these names gets you free access to the world’s best water park.
Who Gets In Free?
If your first name matches one of the names in the campaign, you can enter free of charge by showing your ID card at the ticket office.
The eligible names are:
• Acaimo
• Beneharo
• Añaterve
• Adjoña
• Pelinor
• Romen
• Pelicar
• Bencomo
• Tegueste
• Dácil
• Guayarmina
• Guacimara
• Cathaysa
• Arminda
A Tribute to Canary Identity
Siam Park says the initiative is a way of celebrating “our identity and our roots” as part of Día de Canarias.
It ties local history into one of Tenerife’s biggest attractions.
Which is quite a nice idea.
Although if your name’s David, Simon or Steve… unfortunately this promotion may not be your moment.
One of Tenerife’s Biggest Attractions
Located in Costa Adeje, Siam Park remains one of the island’s most visited attractions and has repeatedly been named the world’s best water park.
This time though…
The real VIP pass is your birth certificate.
