Villa Isabel, in El Fraile, is preparing for a weekend of celebrations as the Fiestas in honour of Santa Isabel de Portugal return from 3rd to 5th July 2026. The programme combines religious ceremonies, a traditional procession, live music and a popular fair, offering activities for all ages.

Fairground attractions and live entertainment

The festivities begin on Friday 3rd July with the opening of the fairground attractions on Avenida Islas Canarias from 7:00pm until midnight. The evening also includes the Rosary, confessions and a special Eucharist dedicated to the deceased residents of the village at the Parish of Santa Isabel de Portugal.

From 10:00pm until 4:00am, the celebrations continue with a dance featuring Orquesta Los Ideales, Orquesta Nueva Ilusión and DJ Javi Plasencia at the fairground on Calle Villa Isabel.

Procession and fireworks on Saturday

Saturday marks the liturgical feast day of Santa Isabel de Portugal. Following the Rosary and the evening Mass, the traditional procession will begin at 9:00pm, accompanied by the Banda de Música de Arona.

The procession will travel through the streets of Villa Isabel before pausing for a fireworks display and musical tributes, before returning to the church square.

The night’s celebrations continue with another open-air dance from 11:00pm until 4:00am, featuring Orquesta Son Sin Límite and Primera Marcha.

Closing celebrations on Sunday

The final day of the festivities, Sunday 5th July, sees the fairground remain open from 7:00pm until midnight.

The celebrations conclude with a final evening of live music from 7:00pm, featuring Orquesta Son Sin Límite, Grupo Ritmo Ipalan and DJ Budi, bringing the 2026 festivities to a close.
