Some places lean into one thing and do it well…
This is one of them.
The Place
La Artillería, right in La Laguna.
Small… cosy… a bit tight if it’s busy.
No reservations either… so you take your chances.
What They’re Known For
Let’s not overcomplicate it:
The XXL pork knuckle
- Big portion
- Properly cooked
- Served with potatoes and onions
It’s the kind of dish you go there for… not something you just “try”.
What Else Is Worth It
A few extras that stand out:
- Tortillas… especially mushroom and truffle
- Met (rye bread with minced pork and spices)
- A few more unusual bits you don’t see everywhere
And yes… leave space for dessert if you can.
The Beer Side
This is where it separates itself a bit.
- Wide selection of beers
- Meant to pair with the food
Not just a token drinks menu… it’s part of the whole thing.
The Setup
📍 Calle Manuel de Ossuna, 52 (La Laguna)
⭐ Around 4.5 on Google
🕐 Open Tue–Sat
❌ Closed Sunday & Monday
Worth Knowing
No bookings…
So either go early or be prepared to wait.
But places like this usually don’t stay quiet for long…
And once you see the portions coming out, you’ll understand why.
