Tenerife’s Renueva Hogar Returns… And It’s Getting Bigger

If you’ve ever tried renovating a place here, you’ll know how messy it can get.

Different suppliers, chasing quotes, things not quite lining up… it’s a bit of a headache.

That’s exactly why events like this actually make sense.

The Renueva Hogar fair is back for its second edition, and it’s shaping up to be a proper one.

Four Days of Everything Property

From April 16 to 19, the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz turns into a one-stop shop for pretty much anything home-related.

We’re talking:

  • Renovations
  • Kitchens and bathrooms
  • Solar panels and energy efficiency
  • Pools, carpentry, security systems
  • Even prefab homes and property services

All under one roof… which is the main appeal really.

Instead of running around the island, you can compare everything in one place.

Why It’s Picking Up Momentum

The first edition pulled in nearly 10,000 visitors, which tells you there’s real demand.

And it’s not slowing down.

Renovation activity in the Canaries jumped 45% in 2025, with average spend sitting around €45,000.

That’s not small change… people are investing properly into their homes now.

This year, the event brings together 45 companies across 136 stands, spread over 12,000 square metres.

So yes, it’s grown.

Not Just Stands and Brochures

There’s also a programme of talks and live demos, mostly focused on things like:

  • Energy efficiency
  • Modern building solutions
  • Smarter ways to upgrade your property

Useful if you’re planning something… or even just thinking about it.

Opening Times

  • Thursday to Saturday: 10:30 – 20:30
  • Sunday: 10:30 – 19:00

And importantly… entry is free.

Which removes the usual excuse of “I’ll go next year”.

Worth a Look?

If you own a place here, or you’re planning to, it’s probably worth walking around for an hour or two.

Even if it’s just to get ideas… or realise how expensive that “simple renovation” might actually be.
