Tenerife’s Batistana Gymnastics Team Crowned Champions of Spain

Huge moment for Tenerife sport…

And especially for rhythmic gymnastics.

The Batistana team from Tenerife has officially been crowned Spanish Champions at the Copa Base Conjuntos Iberdrola 2026, finishing top of the podium in the Benjamín category.

A Winning Performance

Competing at the Palacio de los Deportes in Santander, the young gymnasts achieved a total score of:

🏆 17.250 points

Enough to secure the national title after a standout performance on the floor.

Hard Work Paying Off

The victory recognises months of training, discipline and effort from both the gymnasts and coaching team.

And for many families involved…

Probably quite a few early mornings and long weekends too.

Tenerife Reaches the Top

From the Canary Islands to becoming champions of Spain…

A pretty special achievement for the club and for Tenerife sport overall.

Recognition for the Whole Team

The club also thanked:

  • Families
  • Coaches
  • Support staff
  • And the gymnasts themselves

For helping turn the result into reality.

Worth Knowing

These national base competitions are incredibly competitive…

So reaching the podium is already difficult.

Winning it outright?

Different level entirely.

Safe to say Tenerife gymnastics is doing something right.
