If you thought the Tenerife fiesta season was winding down with summer, think again.
There are still plenty of romerías, bailes de magos and traditional fiestas taking place around the island over the next couple of months, with local families, visitors, folk groups and orchestras all getting involved.
The traditional events are a big part of life in Tenerife, with people dressing in traditional clothing, eating local food, listening to Canarian music and generally finding an excuse to stay out later than they probably intended.
October is still busy

The traditional celebrations continue into November, although the calendar gets a little quieter.

Grab the traditional outfit, find some friends, and prepare yourself for the inevitable combination of folk music, food, dancing and somebody insisting that you’re only staying for one more drink.
