The II Vuelta Ciclista a Tenerife Junior takes place this weekend…

📍 Across different parts of the island
Who’s Racing
Around 20 teams taking part:
- National squads
- International teams (Portugal & France)
- Local Canary Island teams
So a decent level… not just a casual event.
Stage 1 (Saturday)
📍 La Laguna → Anaga → back to La Laguna
🚴 ~70 km
Quick start… then straight into:
- Climbing towards El Bailadero
- Technical descent
- Final push via Las Mercedes
Short… but not easy.
Stage 2 (Sunday)
📍 La Laguna → Vilaflor
🚴 ~100 km
This is the one that decides it.
- Long climb through TF-24
- Over 2,000 metres elevation gain
- Finish at 1,400m altitude
No hiding on this stage.
What’s New
The final stage will be live on Televisión Canaria…
Which is a step up for visibility.
