Finding a decent lunch that doesn’t cost a fortune can be a challenge, especially if you’re working on one of Tenerife’s industrial estates.
That’s exactly where Cafetería La Rotonda, located in the Güímar-Arafo Industrial Estate, has been winning over customers with generous portions, homemade cooking and a daily menu priced at just €12.
The café, now under new management, has already started building a reputation among locals and workers looking for good food without the hefty bill.
A Different Menu Every Day
Available from 12.30pm, the daily menu offers a choice of starters and main courses, along with:
- Bread
- A drink
- Dessert or coffee
All for €12.
The dishes change each day, giving regular customers plenty of variety throughout the week.
On the day featured by local food creators @guachinchesmodernos, the menu included options such as spinach soup, seafood fideuá and squid in sauce.
There was also a special dish outside the standard menu, a hearty Serrano ham and Manchego cordon bleu, available at the same price.
Breakfast Starts Early
La Rotonda also caters for early risers.
Breakfast is served from 6.00am until 12.30pm, with several options available, including the café’s own Serranito Rotonda breakfast, served with coffee and fresh orange juice.
Customers can also choose from a selection of filled baguettes, including the popular Rotonda sandwich, which comes with crisps and a choice of sauces.
Those with a sweet tooth won’t be disappointed either, as the café also offers a range of pastries and other sweet treats.
Designed with Workers in Mind
Its location in the industrial estate makes it particularly popular with people working nearby, although anyone is welcome to stop in for breakfast or lunch.
