Summer Pop Tenerife Announces 20 Artists for End-of-Summer Festival

Summer in Tenerife doesn’t seem to know when to stop anymore.

Just when you think festival season is winding down… another one appears.

Summer Pop Tenerife has confirmed more names for its first edition, which takes place on Sunday 13 September at the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz, starting from 4 PM.

And it’s shaping up to be a big one.

Canary Talent Front and Centre

Among the latest additions are two well-known names from the Canarian urban scene:

Lucho RK arrives with serious momentum behind him. The Gran Canaria artist has built a fast-growing following with his mix of Latin rhythms, rap and trap influences.

Current figures are fairly impressive:

• Over 3.7 million listeners
• More than 27 million streams globally
• Collaborations including Quevedo

Also confirmed is Danny Romero, one of the best-known names in Spanish urban music.

The Gran Canarian singer and producer first broke through with Agáchate and has since picked up:

14 Gold Records
14 Platinum Records

Not bad going.

Tenerife Representation Too

The festival also welcomes Ruslana, returning home to Tenerife after being named LOS40 Revelation Artist and completing a successful national tour with multiple sold-out dates.

Joining her is Lewis Potter, bringing his blend of British influences and island roots.

Spotify listeners currently sit above 450,000 monthly.

Also added to the lineup:

Playacoco – the duo mixing pop with tropical sounds, already veterans of more than 450 live shows and previous appearances alongside artists including Bad Bunny and Yatra.

Existing Lineup Already Includes

Previously announced names include:

Álvaro de Luna
Leire

More artists are still to come, with organisers promising the full lineup soon.

Tenerife Keeps Building the Festival Calendar

The event has support from:

• Government of the Canary Islands
• Turismo Islas Canarias
• LOS40

And honestly… September in Tenerife is looking less like the end of summer and more like an extension of it.

Tickets are already available via the Summer Pop Tenerife website and Tomaticket.
