Semana Internacional de la Moda de Tenerife (SIMTE) 2026 Returns to the Recinto Ferial from 4 to 7 June

Fashion week is back in Tenerife.

And this year it returns to the Recinto Ferial, turning Santa Cruz into four days of catwalks, designers, barbering, streetwear and plenty of creative chaos.

The Semana Internacional de la Moda de Tenerife (SIMTE) 2026 runs from 4 to 7 June, bringing together established names, emerging designers and urban brands in what the Cabildo describes as a strategic event for the island’s creative industries.

Fashion, Streetwear and Sustainability

SIMTE 2026 mixes classic catwalk shows with newer trends and sectors including:

• Sustainable fashion
• Streetwear brands
• Professional barbering
• Men’s grooming
• Craft and textile design

The event also keeps a strong local flavour, showcasing Canarian designers alongside international names.

Young Designers Take Centre Stage

One of the headline events is the XV International Young Designers Competition, taking place on Thursday 4 June at 21:30.

Finalists include designers from:

• Tenerife
• Gran Canaria
• El Hierro
• Indonesia
• Venezuela
• Mexico

Prize money includes:

€5,000 first place
€3,000 second place
€1,500 for the most commercial collection

Big Names Across Four Days

The programme includes catwalk shows from designers and brands such as:

• Yolancris
• Marco & María
• Paloma Suárez
• Silvia Fernández
• José Acosta
• Sandra Viera
• David Moss

The Urban Zone will feature:

• 25 streetwear stands
• Live shoots

• Workshops

Tenerife Barber Expo Closes the Event

Sunday finishes with the Tenerife Barber Expo, featuring professionals from across Spain and international guests from Miami.

• Awards and closing ceremony
