ONCE Awards €220,000 in Prizes Across South Tenerife

Lady Luck paid a visit to the south of Tenerife over the weekend, with €220,000 in ONCE lottery prizes shared between winning tickets sold in San Miguel de Abona and Arona.

The winnings came from both the Cuponazo draw on Friday 24 July and the Weekend Sueldazo on Sunday 26 July, bringing good news for several lucky players.

Five Winning Tickets Sold in Las Zocas

The biggest share of the prize money came from the Cuponazo, where Oliver Andrés Cabrera González sold five winning tickets, each worth €40,000.

The tickets were purchased from his usual sales point at the Repsol service station in Las Zocas, San Miguel de Abona, resulting in a total payout of €200,000.

Many of the winning tickets are believed to have gone to customers travelling between the area and nearby Los Cristianos.

Another Winner in El Fraile

The good fortune continued on Sunday, when María de los Ángeles Gómez Torres sold a winning Weekend Sueldazo ticket worth €20,000.

The ticket was purchased from her sales point at the T-Gas petrol station in El Fraile, in the municipality of Arona.

How the ONCE Draws Work

The ONCE Cuponazo takes place every Friday, with tickets costing €3.

The top prize is €6 million, while 134 additional prizes of €40,000 are awarded to tickets matching the five winning numbers.

The Weekend Sueldazo, held every Saturday and Sunday, offers a top prize of €300,000 upfront, plus €5,000 a month for 20 years, alongside several other monthly prize packages.

Another Weekend of Good Fortune

With €220,000 distributed across two municipalities, the latest draws have provided another welcome boost for a handful of lucky players in the south of Tenerife.

For everyone else, it’s another reminder that sometimes a routine stop at the petrol station can turn into a very memorable day.
