Las Caletillas getting another go
The Cabildo has approved a revised plan to regenerate Las Caletillas beach after the last tender failed.
In short… costs went up, nobody bid, everything stalled. Now they’ve updated the budget to reflect reality, so it can go back out to tender.
What’s planned?
A full clean-up and upgrade of the beach and waterfront… making it safer, more accessible, and a bit more appealing.
Total spend is just over €1.2 million, with work planned across 2026 and 2027.
Worth watching?
On paper, it’s a solid improvement for Candelaria… but as always here, I’ll believe it when I see the diggers.
If it does happen, it’s another small step in improving areas that most buyers tend to overlook.
