La Gran Manzana Shopping Centre in South Tenerife to Open on 16 July

After years of construction and anticipation, La Gran Manzana in Las Chafiras has confirmed it will officially open its doors on Thursday, 16 July 2026.

The new shopping and leisure complex is set to become one of the largest retail destinations in South Tenerife, bringing together shopping, dining, entertainment and family attractions in one location.

More than 45 shops and over 10 restaurants

According to the official information released by the centre, La Gran Manzana will feature:

  • More than 45 shops
  • Over 10 restaurants and cafés
  • A modern multi-screen cinema
  • A supermarket covering more than 1,200 square metres
  • A Grupo Ozone bowling alley
  • A Fitness Park gym
  • More than 1,000 parking spaces, including 50 electric vehicle charging points

Visitors will also benefit from free Wi-Fi, fully accessible facilities, baby changing and nursing rooms, and pet-friendly communal areas.

Well-known brands already confirmed

A number of retailers have already announced they will be opening stores at the new centre.

Confirmed brands include:

  • Jack & Jones
  • Natura
  • JYSK
  • Parfois
  • Encuentro Moda
  • Milla 88
  • Calzados La Horma
  • Arty Belleza
  • Barbershop International
  • Stylo

Several restaurants have also been confirmed, including:

  • Bombay Babu
  • Carnes
  • Pasta Mia

More businesses are expected to be announced before the official opening.

A destination for the whole family

La Gran Manzana has been designed as more than just a shopping centre. Plans include a supervised children’s play area, allowing families to spend the day enjoying shopping, restaurants, entertainment and leisure activities all in one place.

The development also transforms a site that remained unfinished for many years into a modern retail and leisure hub.

Its location in Las Chafiras makes it easily accessible for residents of Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf, Costa del Silencio, Los Abrigos, El Médano and surrounding areas, while also serving the millions of visitors who holiday in South Tenerife each year.
