Can a comedian make you laugh at the state of the world without pretending everything is fine? That’s the idea behind HUMOr 20.27, the latest show from Canarian comedian Kike Pérez, coming to Teatro Leal in La Laguna on Saturday 12 December 2026.
After 20 years on stage, Pérez knows a thing or two about entertaining an audience. He has toured the Canary Islands and mainland Spain, released a new show each year and regularly brought his comedy to viewers through Televisión Canaria.
Comedy With a Bit of Reality Thrown In
HUMOr 20.27 takes a look at the times we live in, from social media and the obsession with immediacy to mediocrity, dishonesty and the increasingly blurred line between what’s real and what isn’t.
The show mixes anecdotes and reflections, using humour to examine the less appealing parts of modern life.
Pérez has spent two decades giving audiences plenty of laughs, but his performances also leave room for a bit of thought. This latest production follows the same approach, finding comedy in the uncomfortable realities of everyday life without suggesting we have to accept everything as it is.
He has also worked on television series and programmes, including El Jefe soy yo, which he presented and directed.
