Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) has officially launched its brand in Tenerife with the reopening of two refurbished holiday resorts in Costa Adeje, marking the company’s first properties on the island to operate under the Hilton Grand Vacations name.
The move adds 250 self-catering apartments to Tenerife’s tourist accommodation and forms part of the company’s wider expansion plans in Europe.
Two Established Resorts Reopen Under a New Brand
The newly rebranded resorts are:
- Royal Sunset Beach Club in Playa de Fañabé
- Sunset Harbour Club in Pueblo Torviscas
Both properties were previously part of the Diamond Resorts portfolio and have undergone refurbishment and modernisation before reopening under the Hilton Grand Vacations brand.
Although operating under a new name, these are not new developments, but upgraded resorts designed to offer enhanced facilities for guests.

The resorts are aimed primarily at families and visitors planning longer stays, combining self-catering accommodation with resort-style amenities.
Royal Sunset Beach Club offers:
- 126 apartments
- Heated outdoor swimming pool
- Wellness area
- Gym
- Poolside bar
Sunset Harbour Club features:
- 124 apartments
- Outdoor swimming pool
- Restaurant and bar
- Gym
- Children’s playground
- Sun terrace
More Tenerife Resorts Planned
Hilton Grand Vacations says the Costa Adeje properties are just the beginning of its presence on the island.
The company plans to refurbish and add several more Tenerife resorts to its European portfolio in the coming months, including:
- Royal Tenerife Country Club
- Sunset Bay Club
- Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club

Investment Welcomed
Hilton Grand Vacations Executive Vice President Derek de Salvia described the reopening as an important milestone for the company.
Tourism representatives have welcomed the investment, saying projects like these support Tenerife’s strategy of attracting internationally recognised brands while modernising the island’s tourism accommodation and strengthening its position as a leading holiday destination.
