Good Friday in Adeje isn’t loud or overdone.
It’s simple, traditional… and if you’re nearby, worth seeing.
Evening in Adeje Town Centre
Everything centres around the Parish of Saint Ursula in Adeje.
At 7:30pm, there’s the Eucharist.
After that, the procession of Our Lady of Piety moves through the town… accompanied by the local band, the bearers of the Virgin, and the senior citizens’ group.
It’s one of those moments where the whole place slows down a bit.
Something Extra This Year
At the same time, there’s the inauguration of the Passion of Christ dioramas in Plaza de España.
They’ll be there until April 7th, so you don’t have to catch them all in one evening.
Quiet, detailed… and a nice addition if you’re already in town.
Other Services Around the Municipality
If you’re not in Adeje centre, there are a couple of other options:
Armeñime (Parish of the Resurrection)
6:00pm – Rosary and Eucharist
Fañabé (Our Lady of the Field)
6:00pm – Eucharist
If You’re Around
If you’re in the south on Friday evening, this is a different side of Tenerife.
No noisy crowds … just tradition, done the way it’s always been.
