If you’re looking for decent Italian food in south Tenerife without the usual restaurant prices, this little place in Costa del Silencio might be worth knowing about.
Il Falco, Pasta per Passione, isn’t your typical Italian restaurant. In fact, it started out producing fresh pasta for restaurants and hospitality businesses.
Now, they’ve added a few tables so you can sit down and eat the pasta straight from the people making it.
Fresh Pasta Made on Site
Food content creator @elsiciliano_tenerife recently visited Il Falco and highlighted the place as an option for anyone looking for fresh pasta, Italian food on a budget, or somewhere different to eat in Costa del Silencio.
One of the main attractions is the price.
Fresh handmade pasta dishes start from €7, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find anywhere these days without ending up with something that tastes like it came out of a freezer.
The menu includes dishes such as spinach and ricotta ravioli, carbonara and amatriciana, along with other Italian favourites.
Not Your Typical Italian Restaurant
The concept is deliberately simple.
There aren’t rows of tables, fancy décor or someone trying to convince you that every tomato was personally blessed in Tuscany.
Just a few tables, fresh pasta made by the people running the business and reasonable prices.
The aubergine parmigiana also got a mention, described as tasting like something someone’s grandmother might have made. Usually a decent sign.
You Can Take the Pasta Home Too
If you don’t fancy eating there, Il Falco also sells its fresh pasta for customers to take home and cook themselves.
The shop is located at:
Calle Minerva, Centro Comercial Coralmar, Local 19, Costa del Silencio
It currently has a 4.7-star rating on Google.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 7.30pm, with the business closed at weekends.
A simple idea really… fresh pasta, sensible prices and no need for the whole Italian restaurant performance.
