Coachella-Inspired Beach Festival Comes to Tenerife on 8th August

Love it or roll your eyes at it, there’s no denying the Coachella look has become a style of its own.

Flowing outfits, flower crowns, oversized sunglasses and plenty of Instagram-worthy backdrops are all part of the package, and this summer that festival vibe is making its way to Tenerife.

On Saturday 8th August, Costa Mágica Beach Club in Valle de Guerra will host a Coachella-inspired beach party, promising an evening of music, sunsets and bohemian style on the island’s north coast.

More than just a DJ set

The organisers are aiming to recreate the atmosphere of the famous Californian festival rather than simply putting on another beach party.

Expect themed decorations, floral displays, relaxed lounge areas and plenty of photo spots alongside a line-up of DJs keeping the music going from sunset through to the early hours.

There will also be a live batucada performance, giveaways and food stations throughout the evening.

Food and drinks aren’t included in the ticket price, although refreshments will be available to buy on site.

A smaller, more intimate event

Unlike many of Tenerife’s larger summer festivals, this event is limited to just 300 guests, creating a more relaxed atmosphere.

The venue opens at 5.30pm, with entertainment running from 6.00pm until 2.00am, giving visitors the chance to enjoy one of Tenerife’s summer sunsets before the party continues into the night.

Valle de Guerra isn’t usually the first place people think of for nightlife, which makes this event feel a little different from the island’s more familiar party locations.

Time to embrace the dress code

If you’re planning to go, don’t be surprised to see plenty of fringes, hats, boots and sunglasses.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the boho or hippie-chic look that has become synonymous with the original Coachella festival.

It’s entirely optional, of course…but you’ll probably feel slightly underdressed if you turn up in flip-flops and a football shirt.

Tickets now available

Two ticket options are available.

General admission includes one welcome drink, while groups of four can reserve a table package that includes a shared bottle and soft drinks.

Tickets purchased on the day, subject to availability, will cost €30.

With limited capacity and a growing appetite for themed events across Tenerife, organisers expect places to fill quickly.

Whether you’re there for the music, the sunset or simply an excuse to dust off your most colourful summer outfit, it looks set to be one of the island’s more unusual events this August.
