The free event takes over Puertito de Güímar this Saturday, 22 August, with DJs, local food and an environmental activity the following day
The Puertito de Güímar is getting another dose of summer entertainment this Saturday, with the return of Güímar Summer Fest – Boncho Tour 2026.
The free event will take place at Plaza del Radioaficionado, formerly Plaza de Las Indias, from 1pm until midnight, bringing together 11 hours of music, food, beer and activities by the sea.
Five DJs across 11 hours
The music programme runs throughout the afternoon and evening, with five DJs taking over the decks:
- 1pm-4pm: Deepak Daswani
- 4pm-6pm: Juana La Cubana
- 6pm-8pm: Las Mellizas
- 8pm-10pm: Tana Sandoval
- 10pm-midnight: La Maldita
So if you’re looking for somewhere to spend Saturday afternoon without having to pay an entrance fee, this one is fairly straightforward.
Food, beer and local produce
There will also be a food area featuring food trucks and local businesses from Güímar.
Expect a mixture of options including pastries, gluten-free food, vegan dishes and different beers, alongside products from local producers.
The event is supported by the Ayuntamiento de Güímar and its departments covering Commerce, Tourism and Local Produce, with a focus on showcasing the municipality’s own businesses and products.
Keeping the coastline clean
The Boncho Tour will also have an environmental side.
On Sunday 23 August, the organisers will hold a volunteer clean-up along the Puertito de Güímar coastline under the name “Por un boncho limpio”.
The activity will focus on collecting rubbish from the coastal area and is being organised with the support of Cerveza Dorada.
A decent combination really. Have a few beers on Saturday, then pick up the rubbish on Sunday.
