Can you believe Abubukaka have been causing chaos for 20 years? The Tenerife comedy group are marking the anniversary with 20 años de Abubukaka, a two-part show at Teatro Leal in La Laguna on 2 and 3 November, with further performances scheduled for 9 and 10 November.
The show looks back at the group’s first decade, from 2006 to 2016, revisiting the sketches, characters and general madness that helped establish their irreverent style.
Expect nostalgia, parody and plenty of unexpected turns. If you’ve seen Abubukaka before, you’ll know that a quiet, predictable evening probably isn’t on the cards.
The performances are split into two parts:
- First part: 2 and 9 November
- Second part: 3 and 10 November
Tickets are priced at €36 and €20.
The show takes place at Teatro Leal in La Laguna, in the north-east of Tenerife.
For accessible seating for people with reduced mobility, tickets must be purchased directly through the theatre box office, either by calling 922 265 433 or in person. The box office is open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 1pm and 6pm to 8pm. On Sundays, it opens two hours before the performance.
