Rafa Sánchez brings Biografía to Teatro Leal in La Laguna on Saturday 10 October at 8:30pm.
The show takes audiences through the story of La Unión, using some of the band’s best-known songs to tell the story of the 36 years in which the group was active.
It’s not simply a concert.
The story behind the songs
Biografía follows Rafa Sánchez’s journey from a young architecture student and ordinary neighbourhood kid to becoming an idol for a generation of teenagers.
The performance combines music, audiovisual material and personal stories, looking at the more human side of the singer and the experiences behind some of La Unión’s most recognisable songs.
The songs themselves help tell the story, with Rafa sharing memories and anecdotes from his years with the band, including the good bits, the difficult moments and everything in between.
For anyone who grew up with La Unión providing the soundtrack to their younger years, it’s likely to be a fairly nostalgic evening.
