If you like burgers, you might want to keep the final weekend of September free.
The first Güímar Burgerfest Canarias is taking place from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September 2026, bringing some of the best burger restaurants in the Canary Islands to Güímar for three days of food, music and a fair bit of eating.
The event will be held at Plaza del Radioaficionado, also known as Plaza de las Indias, with free entry throughout the weekend.
More than 12 restaurants from across the Canary Islands will be taking part, with a focus on local produce and plenty of choice for hungry visitors.
There will also be a dedicated vegan area, a 100% gluten-free zone, a dessert section and a selection of craft beers from the Canary Islands and beyond.
Basically, everything you need for a weekend where the diet can wait until Monday.

Music will be part of the event, with DJs performing across all three days.

Prizes for the Best Burgers
The competition will be a big part of the festival, with prizes available for the burger judged to be the best.
The awards include:
- First prize: €500
- Second prize: €300
- Third prize: €150
- Best Burger voted for by the public: €150
So, alongside trying to decide which burger deserves your attention, visitors will also have the chance to support their favourite.
With food from more than a dozen restaurants, vegan and gluten-free options, desserts, craft beer and live music, Güímar Burgerfest Canarias is shaping up to be a tasty new addition to the local events calendar.
