The Tenerife Fairgrounds is about to look very different.
The venue is currently being transformed ahead of the first editions of Noctámbula 2026 and Summer Pop Tenerife, taking place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September.
And this isn’t just a case of putting up a stage and hoping for the best.
The organisers are installing a huge amount of technical equipment designed to turn the fairgrounds into a completely different environment, with music, lighting, video and special effects all working together throughout the weekend.
Almost 600 lights and 400 square metres of LED screens
The scale of the production is pretty impressive.
Around 600 lighting fixtures, five control desks and approximately 400 square metres of LED screens are being installed for the two events.
The idea is to create an experience that changes as the day and music progress, rather than simply having a big screen behind a band or DJ.
Visual content, lighting and effects will all be synchronised with the performances, giving the fairgrounds a much more immersive feel.
Noctámbula kicks things off on Saturday
Noctámbula 2026 takes over the venue on Saturday 12 September, with a line-up aimed firmly at electronic music fans.
Among the names appearing are Symphony of Unity, Indira Paganotto and Meduza.
The organisers are promising something that goes beyond the usual electronic music event, combining the performances with the large-scale audiovisual production being installed around the venue.
So expect plenty of lights. And quite possibly a slightly different Tenerife Fairgrounds from the one you’re used to.
Summer Pop follows on Sunday
Then on Sunday 13 September, the focus switches to pop and urban music with Summer Pop Tenerife.
The line-up includes La Pantera, Lucho RK and Álvaro de Luna, with the event designed to appeal to different generations.
It should make for a rather different atmosphere to the electronic sounds of the previous evening.
Tickets are already on sale
Tickets for both events are available through Tomaticket, Entradas.com and Tickety.
Noctámbula 2026 is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, Turismo Islas Canarias and Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida, with LOS40 Classic providing media support.
Summer Pop Tenerife is produced by Noctámbula Arts & Music and supported by Los40 and Los40Urban, alongside Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, the Government of the Canary Islands and a number of commercial sponsors.
For anyone heading along, the biggest change may be the venue itself. The fairgrounds are being given a serious technical makeover for the weekend, and by the time the first music starts, it should be almost unrecognisable.
